No Cheese Left Behind

Today we had a viking picnic.  We went to Big Daddy’s Saturday Barbecue.  This is a place only open on Saturdays.  Seriously. You walk in, order at a counter and they give you a styrofoam container with pork ribs, beef ribs, pork rib tips, or chicken and you can buy sides of cole slaw and potato salad.  Then you have to take the food somewhere else because there is no seating.  We decided to take it to Leif Erickson Park.  Leif’s park is tiny offshoot of the state capitol campus featuring a state of Leif in all his viking glory.  We ate at his feet with our ribs, white bread and Capri Sun.  It was awesome!
